The NHS is prioritising the rollout of the COVID-19 vaccine. When it is your turn to get the vaccine you will be contacted. This may be by phone or letter from your GP, or the national NHS booking service. Please do not telephone us for an appointment until you are contacted. Thank you.

GP Access Evening and Weekend Appointments
We are pleased to announce that we are working with South Western Ambulance Service so that GP and Nurse appointments are now available for our patients at Tiverton Hospital Urgent Care Centre during the weekday evenings and at weekends.
Appointments (subject to availability) can be access by ALL registered patients.
To book an appointment please contact the practice.
If you need an appointment at Bramblehaies during the day, you can contact us on the usual surgery numbers.

People across Devon and Cornwall can now download a free app which gives them information about waiting and travel times for their local urgent NHS services.
The app, NHSquicker, shows up-to-date waiting times for local emergency departments (A&Es) and minor injuries units, based on the user’s location.
It also shows live travel times to help people make informed decisions about where to go when they are in need of urgent treatment for a minor injury or illness.
People can also use NHSquicker to find information about less urgent NHS services, such as GPs, pharmacies, sexual health services, dentists and opticians.
NHSquicker is available for smartphones and tablets, on Apple and Android.
The app has been launched by the Health and Care IMPACT Network, a collaboration between the NHS across Devon and Cornwall and academics from the University of Exeter.
The launch comes at a time when doctors are urging people to consider using another urgent care service, if the issue is not serious or life-threatening, rather than an emergency department, as hospitals become busier through the winter months.

If you are registered with our surgery did you know you can:
- access all blood results saving a telephone call to the practice
- order repeat prescriptions, and change pharmacy if wish
- book, and cancel, GP appointments
- view your summary care record – this is the information that health professionals access if you’re seen “out of hours in hospital or another site”
- access details of vaccinations you’ve received through viewing your detailed coded record – will assist you when filling out forms and saving you a call to the practice

** Be Aware **
We'd like to inform you of the change you will face should you sign up to any payable online GP services that have recently been advertised on television (e.g. www.pushdoctor.co.uk). This is different to the online access registration service that we offer at Bramblehaies Surgery.
These companies act as a GP practice and offer online GP consultations, prescription services and more.
Should you opt in and register on any of these websites it will trigger a new practice registration with NHS England. This, in turn will de-register/deduct you as a patient at Bramblehaies Surgery.
This will mean that any service (consultation, prescription etc) notes that are recorded will not be transferred to your current patient record at the practice.
Please ensure to check their terms and conditions prior to accepting any agreement.
